WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW…

Barry Dickins is a prolific Australian playwright, author, actor and journalist best known for his reminisces of growing up in Reservoir.

With 100’s of plays, short stories, biographies, opinion pieces and children’s books under his belt, it’s impossible to sum up Barry’s career in a few sentences. He’s best known for the award winning stage play, ‘Remembering Ronald Ryan’ and for his dramas and comedies on other controversial figures such as Oscar Wilde and Brett Whiteley.

Last year Barry composed and read an enchanting fairytale set in Reservoir especially for the Stomp which had children and adults captivated. This year he's back with another magical story to share. Make sure you're there when he does.
